I've seen a few big restaurants that have great views of the big lagoon at Epcot.:grouphug:

How do you get a great table? At those big 2 story places that look out on the lagoon :confused3

I always eat at Reef or Mexico...but want to try something with a nice view next.popcorn:: :thanks: :drinking1 :earboy2: :dogdance: :hmghost: :donald: :tinker:

Thanks :worship:

Nine Dragons in China has good views IMO. You really can't go wrong with where they place you, but be wary that it gets terribly bright inside during sunset. Bring sunglasses!! :thumbsup2

There's always the Rose & Crown. Book a 7:30 PM table 180 days out, and you should get it. Arrive early. It is possible to get rained out, though. Happened to us last time.

Bistro de Paris in France is on the second floor and does have views of the lagoon. However, you are not guaranteed a window seat there. Need to add, this restaurant is very very good, upscale and pricey, not on any dining plan, and is not a place to take children. But it does have nice views!

Also with the refurb Nine Dragons is no longer operational (boo hoo not a happy bunny here)

With this however you're not guarenteed a water view. Of course this time is only if you want firework viewing. If however you just want a nice view at any time of the day this has the best views IMHO. Ask for a lake view table when you check in and they will try to accomodate but the lower level (right next to the lake) isn't always open.

I always like the little sushi bar in Japan for views but haven't been back since the refurb so not sure how that looks or works now?

Don't think there are any other resturants with views over the lake however as most of the restuarants are at the back of the pavillions. Cant think of any other two story places apart from Japan and France as the USA one isn't a resturant upstairs as aren't the Canada, Norway, Germany or Italy.

Oh, are you serious?? Do you know when it will be done, because it is one of my favorite restaurants in WDW, and I'd really hate to miss it on our next trip, scheduled for summer 2009...

Sushi in Japan, it's pretty easy to get in because most people think of it more as a lounge and don't actually go in there to eat dinner. You can eat at the Teppanyaki side first and then go over there, too.

Its still saying being refurbished until at least Nov. 2008 but there is no rumour yet as to what is being done to it or whether its going to change. This was always by 'easy to get in' resturant as it was very rarely full to capacity and did great food but alas it is no more.

Is this still here? The area has been refurbed in to Tokyo Dining and something else (Teppan Edo is it) but there is no mention of the sushi lounge anymore. This was our fave stop for cocktails as you can look down over the lagoon so if it is still there YEAH!
