Ebay, garage sale, goodwill?

I have started getting my house into order. DH and I are 99% sure we are done having children. How do I get rid of the toys they have out grown?

We did the garage sale thing. I then found a shelter for pregnant women and took all of our baby clothes.

I am hoping my basement will catch on fire! :firefight

On a more serious note:
We usually donate them to a pregnancy center or Goodwill. I am considering having a free garage sale and advertising everything as free!

Can you tell I'm deperate to get rid of a few things??!!

We use Goodwill also, or I give a lot of stuff to a single co-worker.

We had a garage sale in the past, then whatever we didn't sell we gave to the Salvation Army.

That's what our attic is for, right???

:rotfl2: We have atleast 10 big garbage bags filled in ours and I want them gone.

I will make some calls tomorrow to try and find a local shelter.

We look through it - see if anything is worth E-baying, have a garage sale - marking everything really low, anything left over St Vincent's comes and picks up.

I give them to a local battered women's shelter.

When those women have to start over, they often have to leave with nothing. Their children have no toys, so this way, they can get some toys for their kids.

Try finding a freecycle group in your area :thumbsup2
