How do you get on TV?

Ok, so they have TV pro. at my school and I love it. I'm also really good at it!
So I was wondering, what/how do you audition and where do you get "discovered"?!

I know that sometimes you can go through modeling agencies.
or there are talent agencies that go to certain towns.

Look for OPEN casting calls for commercials or extras in tv shows or movies.
I auditioned for an extra in the Hannah Montana Movie, haha

Start out small, and eventually you will become BIG.

[Miley Cyrus is in Nashville right now, and thats just a few hours away, and Idk why i told you that..but...it's pretty cool. Lol]

One time I was at a girls basketball game, and I got "Most Spirited" award

"Geewoooooooo Mystics!!!"

They put mah face on televisonf or 30 seconds

That is..if anyone sits at home and watches Mystic games xD

Get an agent. Most big cities have them. Colleges have student films they are always casting for. Independent films cast locally as well. Actors Access has a lot of calls in major cities. EMACT.org is New England theatre. ActorsEquity occasionally has Open Calls for theatre. Check out Professional Actors Resource Forum....it has an abundence of information.

yeah join a talent agency, they usually have classes for acting on camera if you need them, get headshots taken, then eventually you'll start going to auditions (probably for small stuff at first) but then maybe eventually if you're lucky you'll make it big.

another good thing to do to start out is join a local theatre group to develop your acting skills.

check your local newspaper for open call auditions/ads for talent agencies and stuff.
