Seriously I need to be inspired. I have all the stuff and I feel blah. How in the heck do I get inspired??

Do you have any crops in your area? That is a great way to get into the scrapping groove. Or check out layouts online, that helps me.

Rummage through and find some paper or embellishment you HAVE to use. Or as others have said look at layouts and find one to scraplift.

Or just leaf through photos and wait for them to talk to you.

If I egt really stuck I make up page elements while I'm thinking. ;-)

Lately, I have been looking through magazine pages for inspiration. Also, I have made myself small goals so that I don't think about how far behind I am. For example, I told myself in July that I wanted to scrap DD's 1st grade pages before she started 2nd. It was great, it felt so good and helped me focus and become inspired.

I second the crops! I went to one last Friday and when I got there I was blah. I ended up finishing 12 pages and was feeling it after 20 minutes. It was just what I needed

Scraplifts or finding a new project to start are great ways to get you motivated.

I have to have a spotless house-at least the part I can see from my scrap table-otherwise, I feel like I should be cleaning! It's a silly thing, but it really helps me be able to create. I also look at magazines and scraplift.

crops, magazines, and my pics. I let the pics pick me, right now I am drawn to the 1990's and our April 2005 WDW trip.

ME TOO!

My DH says why don't you scrap? It makes you so happy. And I say Have you seen the kitchen today? It's a mess.

I feel guilty if I should be doing something else.

And if you are going through a dry phase, don't force yourself. I went through a period last year where the idea of scrapping just made me go "ugh," so I took a bath or read a book or whatever I felt like. The one day my fiancé and I started to plan our next Dis trip and I got inspired to scrap the last trip and I was back on a roll.
Scrapping should be fun. If it is not fun at the moment don't do it.

I go to HOOTERS! Then I want to scrap those pics asap. Once I am in the mood the rest just flows!

So go to HOOTERS.

I think the best way to get started and have fun, is to schedule a friend to come over and scrap with you! It makes you start and then you just get into the swing and have fun!

I have an Archivers Scrapbook store 5 minutes from my house, if I can't get inspired by looking at my supplies or pictures, I will go there and wander around the store looking at what they have, maybe go into their workroom and see if there are any die cuts I like (as long as you have paper they have a die cut machine you can use) that type of thing. They also have some free classes, and other classes that cost about $15 or $20 and sometimes I will take one of those to get new ideas or see and use new products,

Do you have a really great trip to scrap? I find sometimes when I'm just doing chronological books, or school books, I get blah....BUT give me pictures of Disney, or of a beach & the ideas start!
