I have a song in my head and it's been there for about 2 weeks now. I can't do anything without singing this song. It's driving me CrAzY!!!

"I like toast with jam and butter....crunchy crunchy..."

Aside from walking in front of the next truck driving by, how do I get it out of my head?

Thanks for the help :worship:

It's a small world afterall...It's a small world afterall...It's a small world afterall...It's a small small world

listen to the Wiggles, than you can have "fruit salad, yummy, yummy" or "mashed banana, mashed banana" stuck in your head instead ;)

Last week we taught our Pre-k kids about traffic signs..

What does the traffic light say to you?
Yellow says becareful as you go through.
Red says stop.
Green says Go.
That's what the traffic light says to you!

This song rolled around in my head for two solid days. Try grocery shopping while you sing this song. I even caught my husband humming along with me!

What I was going to say was that I heard if you actually sing the song to someone else - you "give" them the irritating song and then they won't be able to get rid of it. Of course, they could theoretically "give" you back a song that they can't get rid of.

OMG!!! That is my kids' favorite website. There's nothing worse than a 7, 9 and 12 year old singing Albinoblacksheep songs at dinner time. (Although my 7 year does a great "Schfifty-five")!

:rotfl2: That is too funny!!
My DH and I heard the "Schfifty-five" song 2 yrs ago and COULD NOT stop singing it the whole week we went camping.
Just the other day I remembered that song and was trying to teach DD#1 (she's 2.5yrs) to say, "Schfifty-five." Unfortunately, she can't pronounce it.

I get songs stuck in other people's heads. I don't get songs stuck in my head. :)

If she can't pronounce it, then it's probably even funnier!

I have to be careful because I walked in our home office a couple of days ago and all three of my kids were sitting in the one chair and I'm pretty sure they were at the website (I heard singing and saw animation graphics) and my son immediately shut it down and looked at me with such a guilty face. My two daughters wouldn't even look my way.

I said "You were looking at something inappropriate weren't you?".

"Yes, ma'am".

"And you let your sisters look at it, too."

"Yes, ma'am".

"OK - no computer priveleges for the rest of the week - for all of you".

And he later apologized.

I'm afraid I'm going to get a call from the school because my angels are singing weird, but inappropriate, songs and spreading the word about this website. And our name and phone number is in the school directory. We'll probably have other parents start calling us.

All because of "Schfifty-five". And I love "Schfifty-five".

That is so funny - as soon as I read the title on the thread I thought of Small World.

I think one of the meanest things you can do to someone is sneak up behind them and hum a few bars of Small World. :lmao: :lmao:
