how do you feel about trails end dinner??

1) That is simple cruelty to show the shortcake picture to a bunch of posters who haven't had dinner, yet.
2) Now, how can I get the slobber off my keyboard?
You are correct- I am very sorry. The funny thing is I don't like strawberry shortcake and I couldn't stop eating it. Thought it might help convince OP to try it.
Sorry again, hope you get to eat soon!
Sarah

Our Ratings of Trails End for Breakfast-Dinner: (*rev 05/02/2015*)
. . .
. . . staff friendliness: B-B
. . . staff attentiveness: C-B

.NOTE1: Above include breakfast-dinner (we don't like the lunch), it has tasty comfort

OK, Rusty, just one question???? Why do you not rate the friendliness and attentiveness of staff an A??? We have been camping and eating at Trails End since they opened and have never had anything but exceptional friendliness and attentiveness from the staff on any of our dining experiences - just curious! :confused3
So, you have experienced that??

I do agree on the lunch though - one time was enough - was much better when it was a buffet.

We love it! The food is good & very reasonable for a buffet

Im actually sitting here finding a spot to put this in our plans right now. The main problem seems to be getting to the restaurant as you have to take a boat or bus if you aren't staying at Ft. Wilderness (from what I understand). I'm not a fan of crowded busses and you can (apparently) only take the boat from MK which means we'd miss the fireworks and parade to get dinner here. Still want to go though. I have not seen one bad review about this place and the price is spot on.

Plan for an earlier dinner. I cant imagine it being more than an hour, as there are no characters to wait around for. 6:30 should have you out by 7:30, boat back should get you to the MK by 8, the absolute latest.

Hows the lunch? Was more interested in doing that? The lunch menu looks more up my daughters alley? We are also looking at WCC dinner- we are on the reg DDP (free) so balancing out cost/value is not a consideration. Location is an issue because of holiday time but, was thinking of maybe doing it in between park hopping

I haven't had the lunch . . . just the dinner buffet (it was excellent!) Another Diser has recently posted a Trails End lunch review under Disney Restaurants, Disney Dining Reviews, 'Ohana Bread Pudding Twice in 1 Trip?. Her review has pics as well. Think their opinion was decidedly mixed but it could have been the entrees they ordered.
