How do you edit your thread title?

I can't figure out how to do this. I know you can edit what you've written in the box, but how does everybody write updated with a date in the title?

I think when you choose "edit" on your thread post, there is an option to "go advanced." If you choose that, you should be able to edit the title of your thread.

Click on the edit button at the bottom. Then click on the go advanced button and you should be able to edit the title of your thread.
