How do YOU eat an Oreo cookie?

Last night DH said it offends him that I bit right into the Oreo without taking it apart and eating the middle separately.

I do that sometimes, but mostly I like to eat it as a sandwich cookie, because without the cream in the middle, I don't really like the crunchy part!

Mostly I like to dunk the whole cookie in milk and stuff it all in my mouth at once. I never do this in public, though.

The only way I can eat an Oreo is to just bite into it. I think the cookie part tastes terrible without the cream. No dunking for me; I hate milk.

I prefer to eat it as a sandwich. My favorite part is the middle (I only get the Double Stuff ones) but if I take it apart and just eat the cream part then I don't really enjoy eating the cookies.

I prefer to dunk the whole cookie in milk before eating it though.

I squish it flat, lick the icing off the side and then bite into the cookie that still has icing inside.

I find they sort of scrimp on the icing in the regular oreos now and double stuff are soooo much better!

Too funny! I hold mine in for 8 seconds. I'm like a bull rider of Oreo eating.

I never thought of squishing it flat! LOL! You're right about the double stuff, that is all I'll buy!

You wanna see scrimping on the icing, buy Target's generic brand of double stuff "sandwich cookies". If that was double, I don't even wanna see the regular. Like my uncle says, I didn't realize they put the icing on with a sprayer!

Me neither, for the same reason. eta: when I did eat them I would dunk the whole cookie in milk.

I found a recipe for homemade Oreos, but haven't had a chance to try them yet. I might make them as part of my Christmas baking.

Seriously, I don't think anyone eating Oreos believes they're eating a healthy, nutritious, snack. However, you should have maybe kept up with the debate as it's a few years old now.

Newman O's will work. I find them more delicious. Especially the mint. It's like a "thin mint fix" when it's not girl scout cookie time.

I do this with Little Debbie's Oatmeal Cream Pies. My family LOVES them, so hubby buys them from time to time (he always buys the junk, lol). The oatmeal part is really good, but that cream part is really disgusting and I'm always amazed as how much cream is in one of those things when I'm literally scraping it off.

OMG! I didn't think there was anyone else out there like me! I hate the middle creme part.... prefer the cookie part only
