How do you dress to board??

We will be leaving from AKL after our Sunrise Safari and were wondering how we should dress to board ship?? Do most people dress up or are shorts okay? Thanks for any suggestions!

We usually wear our bathing suits w/ shorts or sundress over it. We head for the pools - its the best time to swim without the crowds! Everyone we've seen at boarding was dressed very casual.

We dress in shorts & matching Disney Ts for our embarkation picture.

Great idea of the matching t-shirts for the embarking pic. I will have to keep that one in mind.

Where whatever you'll be comfortable in for the afternoon as you may not have access to your luggage for a while.

We are always in shorts and matching t-shirts that I make for our family. It's about the only time I can now get my teenage DD to wear a homemade t-shirt, LOL!!!

Hi,

For me it depends on the tme of the year I'll be sailing. Being a Floridian I enjoy wearing shorts as much as possiable. I usually try to wear a pair of dress shorts, but I have worn jean shorts before as well. This year I'll be sailing on the wonder in Feb. and it will be cold, so I'll either wear jeans or dress pants and anything else Disney logo'd!

We are very casual as well, with our bathing suits underneath..

We try to wear the biggest shoes on board, so more room to pack...

We dress casual (t-shirt and jeans or shorts). We try to wear loud-colored t-shirts so it's easier to find our embarkation photo.

We never go swimming the first day, so we tend to dress in what I guess would be considered resort casual. Lots of photo ops that first day, and we prefer to be a little nicely dressed.
