How do you do your ADRs?

Since the park schedules and EMHs won't be posted when it is time for me to make my ADRs, I am looking for suggestions. We are going in Dec., so I don't want to wait to make my ADRs, but I am not sure how to put together the best schedule. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ADRs cannot be made until 180 days before your trip. By then, the schedules will be released for December. A good option is to check either on this site or Allears.net for historical park hours in the month of December.

Hope this helps.

Disney releases the park hours six months in advance, so you should be able to know what they are by the time you are able to make ADRs.

Thank you for all of your help!
I know we usually don't spend the whole day in one park necessarily.
Does anyone have any tips on how to arrange your ADRs. Do you typically make a dinner reservation in the park that has EMHs that night?

IF you are going beginning of December the hours may not be posted in time for you to make your adrs.

If you have any that you know will be critical like CRT than I would use the park hours from last year as a guide and make them at your 180 day mark. The others I would just wait.

I have been adding adrs for the past month with no problem and we are going in March.

I don't really understand the panic about getting all your adrs at 180 days out. It just doesn't seem necessary.:confused3

I have the same dilemma here... we're going late Nov/early Dec, and the day I can start making the ADR's is June 1st. If Disney puts their schedule out 6 months before, then that's going to fall either on that day or after.

We're planning on doing CRT for sure, as well as 1-2 others that seem to need the 180-day advance reservations. And I'm trying to plan the parks so that we won't be at the park that has the morning EMH (we are not morning people), so don't know how I'm going to be able to do that, without knowing the schedule.

I tried printing out the 2006 and 2007 calendars, and the hours are easy to find (very similar each year), but the EMH parks seem to be a different schedule those 2 yrs (at least during the week we're going).

I usually just plan my ADR's according to what ressies I can get where. For instance you know you want CRT. You may be able to get it Tues.. not Sunday. Just plan your day around your ADR's. This works really well if you do not have a strict must do daily plan. Somedays when we do not have ADR we hop on the first park bus that comes. Have fun.

I usually make our ADR's around 2-3. By that time we're tired and hot, and need some air-conditioning. The restaurant usually perks us up, and we can go for the rest of the night.

Last year we went during free dining and I didn't start making ADRs til May. I also changed them a lot, all the way up to our trip! I seemed to change them while we were there too. Never had a problem.

So don't freak out about making all your ADRs 180 days out, there really is no need for most restaurants. (Except Le Cellier, if you want a prime dinner time)
