IMHO, managing your expectations goes a long way to minimizing the "annoyance factor" of crowds. If you go during "busy" season, you're not going to walk right on many rides; prioritizing (and having 'touring' plans, if you're a commando-type) will help. OTOH, we just went last month (our first time in Dec) having heard tales of low attendance at that time, and it was certainly busier than we anticipated.
A line for TTA? Really? I've been going to WDW since back when it was the "WEDWay People Mover" (and when "If You Had Wings" / "Dreamflight" was open) and I've never seen a line....
