How do you "decorate" your personal stroller's?

Hello to all!

We are going to WDW with our entire family in 2 weeks . We have 3 grandson's along for the trip. We have a single stroller, and a double. How do you all "mark or decorate" your strollers so they are easy to find? We're also concerned about theft. TIA

As for us we were concerned about theft too so we decided to decorate our stroller a bit We have put some fun stickers on the stroller in different areas. Not too much just 4-5. Our grandson is a big Thomas the Train fan so we chose that theme Sorry he hasn't met Mickey yet, I'm sure that will change once he does. Anyway I also made up two laminated name signs using cardstock. I put a clip art of Thomas on them along with our last name. I will hang one from the handle bars and lay one inside the basket below. I am also using colored curling ribbon in three colors and tieing these on at different locations around the stroller. Simple, easy yet still enough to stick out a bit. The stroller can still be folded up without interference. We will also lock the front wheels when we do park it so it won't be as easy to wheel away yet will still allow CM's to move them which they sometimes have to do.

I bought a dozen bright colored bandanas from Oriental Trading. I used florescant pink and orange ones on our stroller (and used the rest for our luggage, to make it easier to spot at the end of our trip at JFK.)

I also used a bright orange poncho just for the stroller. It was wonderful!!! Our stroller was easy to spot and dry, regardless of the weather! (a plastic tablecloth from the dollar store would do just as well, along with a clothespin or two.)

I always buy some wild ribbon at Walmart and tie it on a couple of places on the stroller. We have never had one stolen, but I saw a post recently of someones that was

Thanks for ideas, there great! Back when my kids were small, we never worried about theft. We also rented strollers, but now they are just to much $$.
I am going to try some ribbon, and the name tags, hopefully, this will make the stroller easy for us to find, and to obvious for a theif. We are also taking bike locks. Thanks again!

Just had to share the funniest "decorating" story I ever read...don't remember where.

This family, also concerned about theft took a clean diaper, rolled it up like it was dirty and put in a clear palstic bag. they poored some brown root beer in it, just enough for color and effecrt and tied it to the handle of the stroller in plain site.

No one took their stroller.

I don't have a good picture of what I did but I will post a partial picture to give you an idea. I made a sign out of a vinyl fabric from the fabric store that I hung on the back. Then I got reflextive tape and used my Mickey punch to make reflective stickers.

We pinned a 6-8 inch diameter Red Christmas bow on our stroller canopy last week at DL. (Not that we needed it - it's a lime green Quinny Buzz.)

We also have a dangle of Lime Green Mickey Heads (laminated) that we hang from the handlebar.

We tend to use Bike Handlebar tape. Multiple colors for originality and designed for Having sweaty palms handle it for long distances! It is also not just tied on... which discourages 'wanna be Stroller Pirates."

We stuck a couple address labels on it in spots one wouldn't think to look. We also took a Sharpie marker and wrote our last name on it in relaly big letters on the metal bars of the stroller legs and stuff. Also, we ended up with an extra Disney luggage take and attached that to the handle on the side of our stroller.

We put a New York "license plate" with my son's name on his stroller. We attached it with heavy duty zip ties....very difficult for someone to remove unless they came prepared with pliers and a scissor!

Now that's what I call decorating your stroller. I'm glad you had no issues with it being stolen.

This doesn't deter theft, but I bought some of those brightly colored plastic lei's (sp?) and we just wrapped one around the handle bar of the stroller - we could always spot our stroller in the crowd. We also usually left it in the middle of the crowd of strollers figuring that strollers left on the outside were easier for dishonest people to grab as they walked by.

I don't plan on doing anything too fancy- probably just using index cards, with Lime Green Mickey's from Home Depot and our name, and ZIP TYING it to the stroller handle. I think that the zip tie would be the key to deter theft- something that you would need to use scissors to remove.

I have thought about getting a bike lock to put on the wheels after reading about all of the thefts lately. But then I question if that is going overboard and bordering paranoia??? We have never, ever had a problem w/ our stroller, and have even been known to leave our diaper bag in/on it with camera/wallet in it.

The wheel covers are made from self adhesive sheet plastic and the lights are LED rope lights.
