How do you cook your turkey?

I bake my in the oven.

Me too! People give me funny looks when I tell them that I use the cooking bag. I wouldn't cook my turkey any other way!

I am planning to roast our small turkey, but NC Beast may be grilling turkey next week if the weather is good enough.

I bake mine in a blue spackled dutch oven (w/lid) and stuffed. I think my mom uses a cookin' bag, tho'

I usually roast it in the oven, but this year I decided I'm sick of spending 6 hours in the kitchen making food and Boston Market is making my turkey (and fixins') this year. All I have to do is order their feast dinner, drive to pick it up bring it home, toss the bags, and voila! Thanksgiving dinner in 30 minutes! Yes, I am in fact lazy as sin.

The last time I cooked for Thanksgiving, I deep fried. It was great!

I think the next time I want to try the Alton Brown method.

I so want to try this. But I am scared of messing something up. LOL I have to follow recipes for everything. Cooking doesn't seem to come natural to me. Although I do think I am an ok cook.

I buy the Turkey, defrost it, invite my Mom and Dad to spend the weekend, and when I wake up Thanksgiving morning, the Turkey is cooking. It's a Holiday MIRACLE.
