I just ordered several pairs for my kids. My DD has a Sketchers pair and a Payless pair, both pink, they are ROTTEN:laundy: One pair is reduced to being used in the yard only, the other she wears mostly to dance as its an easy change. But during the warm months she wore these constantly! So I know when she gets her mitts on the Disney Crocs I may just be peeling them off her! So whats your secret to cleaning the light colored ones?

My DH found a pair of navy blue Crocs at a local thrift store (the real things too, not the knock-offs!). I threw them in the washer with a load of towels and let them air dry. They came out great!

I heard Mario Vitale (food network chef) say that he throws his in the dishwasher. I've never tried this, but I guess it works for him!

My son and I both have them. They are great! I just use soap and water, then let them drip dry.

I don't have crocs but I use one of those Mr. Clean sponges on my kids tennis shoes and they come out really clean!! I have gotten hooked on those sponges for cleaning allot of things!!

I toss our Crocs into the washer with a little detergent and some OxyClean powder and let air-dry. They come out squeaky clean. :)

Get some of those wipes you use on your car dash and your crocs will shine like new!

I wear them into the shower. Wash them up with a little soap and water, and let them air dry.

Okay, how did I manage to "shrink" two pairs of Crocs. My 2 DSs shoes. Needless to say they were not very happy with my when they tried to wear them.
One pair became to younger ones and my very own pair became my other DSs. I still owe them new ones as they each really wanted certain colors.

Has anyone ever found them on sale?

I don't think I will ever use the dishwasher recommendation.

I did it with ALL my crocs and now they don't wear the same. They squeak and they have lost their 'sweatproofness'. My feet now sweat buckets in them when they NEVER did before.

What a bummer!

I've done this as well. Once I just put them in a sink of sudsy water. Either way worked well. I think the knockoffs aren't the "closed cell" type that the crocs are. I got my nephew a pair from walmart one day just to use in a pinch. Well he wore them a lot and they are trashed as far as looks. His real crocs (last years pair) are falling apart literally but still look "clean". This years pair of crocs are still in good shape.

We wash them in the washing machine on cold/gentle cycle and sit them out to dry. They still look brand new and clean up so easily this way! I even leave the Jibbitz in and have no problems.

We have thrown them in the washer with like colored towels. They clean up great!

I'm wondering, has anyone tried the Croc Butter? I guess it is supposed to bring back that new Croc shine.

We leave the Jibbitz in too, no problems either.

I rinse them off with water and soap or put them in the washing machine with a load of clothes.

I definitely DON'T recommend dishwasher. I know others have had success, but it's a risk and at $30 a pair it's just not worth it. I washed DD's a while back (top rack) and the strap got a little melted and they are tighter. You have a 50/50 chance of something happening!

I have a scrub sponge and will just scrub them in the sink. OR, I'll throw a load of them in the washer and dump some detergent and bleach in there and they come out beautifully.
