How do you change your ressies

We've finally decided how to handle our next trip. We're splitting our time between our DVC (getting two studios) and going to another resort for the rest of the stay. Ultimately I'd like to stay at the VWL then move to the Lodge. Now here's the question. I'm going to make our ressies at BWV for 4 nights and at 7 months I'd like to try for the VWL. Should I wait until the end of the reservation date to try to get all 4 nights? I'm afraid that if I change the ressies night by night like we do the original reservation I may get half the nights I want. I know that if I wait til the end I'll know if I can get all 4, BUT I really want to stay at the VWL. (I know I'm being anal, but I want to do this the best way) Help BTW we'll be going end of Jan 2003 if that makes a difference.

I would think that for the end of January 2003 you could just make your 4-days all at once. Day by Day ressies are really only required for the absolutely busiest times.

What you might do is call at about 7-months + 1-week ahead and ask how availability looks for your dates. If there's plenty of room, then wait and do it all at once. But if the CM says it's filling up fast, then you could do your day by day ressie. If you do that, be sure to let the CM know what you're doing.
