How do United measure up long haul?

If you save enough on the tickets- buy him an Ipod touch or Ipad (you know, its an education expense....) - you can load them up with movies, games, music, photos, books - and the battery seems to last a fair while. -

I flew United internationally and then domestically at the end of last year. The staff were all friendly and the food wasn't that bad (only free on the international) but I didn't like that on the international there was only a big screen in my section at the front and I was towards the back of the plane so didn't get a great view...and they tried playing Eat Pray Love three times on the one flight! Aghhh There was some technical issue so they kept stopping and trying to play it. I would fly them again if they were the cheapest going again but am hoping next time to try out VAustralia, have heard wonerful reviews about them!
