How do tall people shower?

We just recently got back from our wonderful cruise to Alaska on the Wonder. As I took my shower each day, I was questioning how tall people use the showers... My husband is taller than me (he's ~5' 10"). The showers work out just fine for us, but I couldn't imagine being any taller and using them. Does anyone over 6ft have problems with this?

The shower heads are adjustable and removable for hand held use.

I'm 6'1 and don't have any issues. As PrincessShmoo indicated, they are adjustable. I will say this though, anyone over 6'5 or so would have to stoop as my head was about touching the ceiling in the shower.

I wish they would do that at WDW Resorts. Fixed shower heads are a pain to deal with, especially when showering short lil ones. It's not fun trying to hold a 3 yr old on your forearm Superman style, sticking their butt up to a fixed shower head to try to get sand out of there, while trying to not slip and die in there. :headache:

Also I have known of several people using the showers in the gym. Much larger and higher shower heads. Especially when you have several adults in one room trying to use the shower.

DS is 6'6". He definitely has to stoop to fit in the shower. I've told him he can use the larger showers by the gym, but he prefers to make do with the cabin shower.

I'm 5'10 and I just fit under the shower head. The good thing is that the head is removable, so you could always take it out of the holster and use it like a hose. I'm assuming that's why they don't have the fixed shower heads. So that tall people call just remove it and reach higher with it if they have to.

6-2 and I "hunch" over. and since its a hand wand I use that feature too.

I'm 6'4''. I took all of my showers in the gym. Since I was there anyway, it wasn't that big of a deal. Plus, the showers in the gym are HUGE!

that's me; slightly over 6-2 and i have to hunch over to wash my hair....that said it isn't awful or a situation where you come out with back pain from bending to get under the shower head...

I'm just a hair over 6' tall and I didn't have much trouble showering. Most hotels I stay at have shower heads that are about level with my chest so I've had lots of practice doing the Hunch and Rinse when I wash my hair. What I had a hard time with was getting into a good position to shave my legs in that that tiny shower. There wasn't much room to maneuver, that's for sure!

I'm 5'11" and my husband is 6'2". He suffers through the stateroom shower but I have to use the one in the spa--the low ceiling is one thing, but combine that with the narrow shower space and the super-clingy shower curtains, and I just can't do it.

This may be a silly question but are the showers/ change area in the gym private? Or is it more like a high school locker room?

I am about 6'6 and around 240lbs. Everytime I shower I feel like Buddy the Elf in the shower tub (love that movie). My head rests on the vent in the ceiling when I stand up straight. Even with the adjustable shower head it's not relaxing at all.

Are you planning on getting much taller? :confused3

In the family oceanview rooms that come with the round tub...there is a rain style shower head. This actually gave us a few extra inches. Someone who is 6'3 in our family can clear this...the regular showers they have to be hunched over.
