Post a clip so that the actual image can be seen, but the background is transparent? *Like this*

Whenever I open then on their own they have a white background. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

They have to be modified in an image editing software package. Alternately, you can post them here and someone will usually jump in and make the background transparent for you.

If you are talking about your Mickey in your signature, I don't know if you noticed that RoutemanDan made him with a transparent background for you and posted him in your other thread. Here it the link.

Thanks Bob. I have Paint Shop Pro, and I know how to change the background to a transparent one, but it still shows up white when I post it.

I edited this one to have a transparent background, and this is what I get.

Just made him with a transparent background using PSP7. Let's see if he works. I didn't take the time to address the eyes so they will be transparent as well if it worked.

Seems to have worked fine. I'm not sure exactly what the problem might be.

I see one thing in the picture that you posted. You saved it as a .jpg file. I don't believe that .jpg supports transparancy. Try saving it as a .gif.

I changed it to a GIF and it still doesn't work.... grrrr...

Edit: Just for reference, to make him tranparent, I select the white background using the wand thingie, then invert the selection. I copy this, and paste it onto a transparent background. Is that even the right thing to do? I'm using PSP 6.

I never had PSP6. I lived for a long time on 4.2 then jumped to 7.

Under File do you have an Export option and under that a GIF Optimizer? I use either that or under Colors I use Set Pallet Transparency.

Once again, BobBrazeal saves the day. :) I don't know how I missed this. File>Export>Transaprent GIF. Thanks once again, I'll upload it as soon as Worldzone is back up.
