How do I see [New Posts] filtered by [Watched Forums]?

I want a quick view of all new posts belonging to my watched forums. Can this be done?

Could I do it with a 'saved search'? For example the search below looks of the wildcard '*' content for several DVC related forums. Could I bookmark the search and run it as often as I choose to check for most recent threads related to DVC?

How about the [News Feed] option -- could it be configured to do what I want? It would appear to be a logical path .. but when I explore it the [News Feed] seems constrained to "people" you follow vs "forums" you follow?
