How do I put a picture in my signature?

I'm sorry if this isn't the right forum but I have a question. I am trying to be more high tech and put pics of myself and my sons in my signature. I don't know how to do that and also, I don't want them too big or too small either! Any help anyone can offer, through posting or messaging me would be a great help! thanks in advance!!!!
