You know, I realize that so much of Disneyland is about the ride for people. But, for me it is all of Disneyland.


When I walk under the tunnel, always the right one I am over whelmed with all of the sights, sounds and smells. Yes the smells. I have to look at everything. I am always excited to see how the flowers are arranged, and what is in the hanging baskets on the light posts. I would love to have hanging baskets that looked that at my house.


There are favorite locations to sit and watch the world go by while I am in the parks. I love to watch people at the DLR. Last trip I got to watch this group of three nuns all over Disneyland. Their excitement was wonderful. Watching them pose with the characters for photos and the smiles on their faces said it all. This is what Disneyland is all about the innocent fun, and the way that being inside those gates you lose your real life. The you that you can be in Disneyland. That child inside of you.

Just like you Michele, I was once a guy that loves to go to the DLR for the rides and don't care much about the shows and looking around at the park. Now today, its all about the DLR and the shows and looking at the rides and buildings. It is just so fun now to look for anything that we don't see much on the website or talk about it. Going on the rides is still fun, but over time I just like walking around the parks and see stuff that we will never see too much.

Thank you, I figured that it was a good way to encourage them to drive. Our son is working hard on it. The girls couldn't careless. I could hardly wait to drive.

Me either! I loved driving and having more independence.

It's good they are learning to drive. Grumpy was able to drive at age 15 in FL, but he didn't get his license until he was nearly 17. I love not having to drive him to his class.

That was me. I was ready to get out on the road and drive.

Yeah, we are in the high 80's here in the bay area and it was 100 degrees in Disneyland today!! It was 104 yesterday!! I never thought I would say this but I am glad I wasn't there.

You are lucky. After the storms that ruined the grape crops and all that cold weather we are now melting. Such fun.
