How do I go about adding a rm only?

I have the 7 for 5 deal already booked, but was thinking about heading down a day earlier. SO I was thinking to just get a room only reservation. But how should I do it. My original reservation for the 7 for 5 is booked through the disney website, to book the 1 day only do I do that also via their website or should I call them directly to do it? Would both reservations need to be linked in someway or no?

They do not need to be linked. You can do it seperately.

We booked the 7 for 5 (over the phone) and then a room only for the last day together. We only have one confirmation number for both reservations, so I think they are "linked" together. They also said they try real hard not to make you move rooms, but there is a chance. I would call and try to add it to your current confirmation, so they realize it is the same family, and hopefully not have to switch rooms. We have never done this before....so I am not 100% sure how it all works.
