How do i get to

The Cirque de Solieil from I Drive (and back) when I dont have a car. I thought of using the shuttle to the TTC and then the Disney bus during the day but coming back will be a problem.

Any ideas its only me and DH who are going so no kids (apart from him of course)

And any ideas on what to do on thanksgiving becasue I want to avoid the parks like the plague that day.

Without paying for a taxi each way which will be around $25 - $30 I think the easiest way is to get the number 50 linx bus to the TTC, walk round to Poly Resort and then a bus to downtown disney. Depending on what time show you see (we saw the 6pm) you can do the reserve to get back or perhaps paying the taxi one way isn't too bad.

What about shuttles from your hotel that you are staying at? Perhaps you could get a shuttle to one of the parks, back out to a hotel and then to downtown disney, just a thought.

We were there last thanksgiving & we made a reservation before we flew out for a thanksgiving meal at the 1900 park fayre restaurant at the Grand Floridian (you dont have to stay there) this meal has Cinderella, prince charming & the fairy godmother present & i pre ordered some 'special' desserts which they dont have unless there ordered these were a chocolate cinderella slipper, Mickey mouse ice cream bomb & pluto choc bones & if you time it right you can go down to the boat dock and watch the 'wishes' fireworks across the lake take a jumper or something warm as it can be chilly with the wind blowing off the water, we had a great time, this was in the evening. Daytime how about Discovery cove or a water park or just hang by the pool!
