How Do I Get This Discount PIN Everyone Is Talking About?

Hello All!
I am really considering going to Disney World in late August this year. I want ot stay at CBR again. We loved it there last year! I've been putting my package together online and playing with the numbers the last few days. I keep hearing you all talking about this PIN discount for the rooms. Where can I get a PIN? I think the discount would really make up our minds about going this year. How much of a discount would we get by staying at CBR from 8/24 - 9/1? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

All have been extended until October 3.
There is Kids Eat and Play free. Discounts on the room only and free dining.

You can't get a discount on rooms and free dining. Some of us are still looking for pins because our travel dates are either before or after the current promo.

You may wish to read thru the "EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT PINS & DISCOUNT CODES" listed in my signature.. It's a sticky at the top of this board and answers a lot of the common questions.

....it should take you right to the % off codes for stays through Oct 10. Just scroll down and click on "check availability" and then when you price your vacation out, it's going to include the room discount. You'll see on that first page how it's broken out by date and then %.

Resort Category
For stays most nights:now to 8/14/10 For stays most nights 8/15/10-10/2/10
Select Disney Value Resort Hotels 15% Savings 30% Savings
Select Disney Moderate Resort Hotels 20% Savings 30% Savings
Select Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels 25% Savings 40% Savings
Select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts 30% Savings 40% Savings

Then click "check availability".

If you price it out each way (free dining or % code) you can see which benefits your family more. I hope this helps !!

You cannot stack discounts; its one or the other. You have to run the numbers.

So I guess I'm getting both the free dining and the room discount when going through the main website. No need to wait for a PIN then right? Thanks for all of your replies!

Actually you are getting EITHER the Free Dining or the Room Discount (from your post it sounds like you are doing FD). If you elect to use the Free Dining offer then you are paying FULL PRICE for your room.

If you want a room discount you would have to reprice with that instead. Depending on where you are staying and who all is in your travel party the room discount could be a better deal than FD or vice versa. You have run the numbers.

As others have said, you can not get more than one discount at a time.

actually i got a pin for the discount on a room and when we called to learn more about it they said they would give us 40% off the room and 40% off any of the dining plans

I'm just curious how that happened. I may be wrong here but I thought u could only use 1 offer on each visit. Whichever saved more money. is it possible that they will give u the room offer n then the cm stated that they can save you an additional 30 - 40 % off dining? They guestimate the % for the reg. Dp and the ddp at those %'s. Keep us posted Inquiring minds want to know thnx.
