How do I get these???

I am new to this, so forgive the ignorance, but I see a couple pins on the Official Disney Pin site that I want to buy. Please tell me my options in purchasing these from home. Thanks. Pam

Hi, Pam.

You can use the SKU (bar code number) from the website, then call WDW Merchandising, and place an order.

However, two caveats:

1. I don't believe you can phone order limited edition pins.
2. They're shipping fees are rather steep - I think something like $6.95 to start.

I know this is not very helpful.

Here's a couple other ideas.
1. Those pins will certainly be offered on that famous auction site real soon.
2. There is an unofficial Disney pin site, called Dizpins. There are several message boards, including a buy/sell board.

There is a web site called PinPics - http://www.pinpics.com

The site is designed to help people trade online. You register (free) on the site and create your "want" and "trader" list.

You can search the site for pins either by number(if you know it) or by keywords like you would do on a search engine, i.e. Yahoo.

When you fnd a pin you are looking for on PinPics you can view the pins description, release date and many other facts including who is "wanting" and "trading" the pin.

The database currently has just about hit the 20,000 pin mark, so there is lots to search for.

I highly recommend getting acclimated to the PinPics web site.
