How do I get from Pop Century to Universal Studios?

Going in les then 2 weeks.....YES!!! Thinking about going to Universal one day to check out there Christmas deco. What would be the best (ok- cheapest and easiest) way to get there. We are staying at Pop Century (3 DD's, ages 5, 9 and 11 and myself). Would appreciate any input. We are not renting a van for the first time as I planned on using the Disney transportation, but have a feeling they don't have a bus to go there.

Mears has a shuttle you can get to take you; or a taxi. I've never taken one to US so don't know the cost of either. I got the limo transfer we used one year to take us to Discovery Cove. Back then it was around $35. Also used Mears one time to go to SeaWorld for around the same price. I hear you can get the public transportation, but don't know anything about it.
