I booked airfare yesterday, so ofcourse the price went down today - how do I get the credit for the difference? Do I go to "change flight" and just rebook the same flight at the new price? Do I need to call?

You got it, just view/change reservation and rebook the flight. Then the confimation number will have your ticket and credits.

Ok, thanks. I figured it out. Yep, I got the credit. Does anyone know how long it is good for? Is it transferable?I will probably never be able to use it.

So what. You pay the full price and have a credit for a future flight?

I'm not sure I am understanding you correctly, but no, you don't buy all new tickets adn just have credit for the old. They exchange the tickets and just credit you the difference in price for a future flight purchase.

The credit is transferable, just give someone the conf # and they can use it. It is good for 1 year from the original purchase date, as in, the date you bought the ticket before it went down. I just wouldn't get rid of your credit until after you travel, since it is still linked with your current tickets. You wouldn't want anyone messing that up.

I agree. Also it may drop again. Just wait and see. You have plenty of time.
You may decide you want to use it by the time the exp rolls around.

We had a $300 credit from our TG flights so we took a long weekend getaway to WDW back in Jan. This made the return flights free for the 4 of us and Airtran had $54 fares plus a $25 coupon. I think we paid total of like $257 for all 4 of us RT. :cloud9::worship:

Now, our Aug fares dropped and again almost $300 in credits. We also have a Rapid Reward and very close to another RR so we're doing a quickie 3 nt Disney cruise in March. By then we'll need to escape the winter cold. :cloud9:
