We will be staying off site, and I am wondering how to find out which park will open earlier...does anyone know?
Is it better to avoid that park, because it is probably more crowded on that day? Or is that the one to go to because people came earlier, thus leaving earlier?
Also, is it true that all the FASTPASS tickets can be taken already by early in the day? Here I am thinking thats a great system, and now I read this..and I have something brand new to be wondering about!! :) Is the wait between when you get the FASTPASS and when you are to return usually very long? I'm trying to figure out how to maximize our days at the parks..so I want to be prepared. Any advice? Are there certain rides I should automatically FASTPASS at Magic Kingdom?
Sorry for all the questions...but I just want to be prepared!

Oh, and one more thing..where does Belle tell a story? My kids will love that!! :) And is "ITS A SMALL WORLD" closed right now? :(

Here is the list of parks that open early, I would say that the best thing to do is to avoid the early entry park, try and get to the park you want to visit as soon as the park opens.
Sunday Magic Kingdom
Monday Disney's Animal Kingdom
Tuesday Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday Epcot
Thursday Magic Kingdom
Friday Disney's Animal Kingdom
Saturday Disney-MGM Studios

When we were in WDW this past month, we had to wait about 45 minutes before we would get our next fast pass. Here is a list of the rides with fast pass in the MK
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Jungle Cruise
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Peter Pan's Flight
Haunted Mansion
Mickey’s PhilharMagic

Depending on the ages of your children you can determine what rides would be better to fast pass. Pooh always seems to have a long line as well the "mountain rides. I have always been pretty lucky with Buzz, Jungle cruise, Peter Pan and Haunted Mansion. We were able to see Mickey's Philharmagic twice without a fast pass. I like to get a fast pass for rides I want to go on more that once. Then I do not have to stand in line as long.

Small World is closed until next year, and I do not know where Belle's story time is

When are you going to WDW? Also, I recommend you pick up a guide from your local book store. Guides help big time! For one, your major questions get answered and secondly, you will know exactly what you will want to do. Then, if you need more help (like me), then this forum is the way to go. Also, if your family is like mine you will want to grab FP for Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Mickey's Philharmagic, Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear. Oh, don't get them all at the same time. Get a Map and work your way around the park. :)

Although you don't need a FP for this one, go and take a ride on Pirates of the Carribean. And yes, It's a Small World --closed :(

Since you cannot participate in the Early Mornings (Disney resort guests only) you should avoid that park for the day. The crowds really build once the main gates are opened to the public.
I do suggest that you plan on getting to the parks early. By getting there early you will be able to do a lot of rides/attractions and get great FP times.

just be aware sometimes they change at the last min. ( like Mk and AK for the Marathon) so maybe ask in the park you are in the previous day . I don't know when you are going but we have never had a problem with crowds anytime on ee day in winter so unless you are going peak season I wouldn't worry about it.

same with fast pass, they aren't always even open in slower times. a lot of what is written about that kind of stuff is peak season only warnings
