How do I copy the color???

If I start with a black Mickey head and this cleip art,

Why do I get this when I put them together:

Is it because I've got something crazy on the first (Mickey head) design that's set to gray or something??? I was so excited that I'd figured this much out but I'm not sure how to get the color...

Ok it's something with the Mickey head....I found a "blank" outline and filled that in and it's working! Boy I'm addicted! Thanks guys for giving me a new talent-in-progress!!

what program are you using? If you're using Paint Shop Pro, copy the image & paste as a new image & it'll be fine.

Most likely the mode/format of the Mickey head is set to B & W. If you change the mode to RGB or full color then paste Ariel in she should be in color.
