How do I become more inconsiderate?

Hey maddhatir,

Where you going now?

i will need to do further "research" with some of my friends and get back to you all! :thumbsup2

well i know we will be doing a google search of the "most considerate/polite planets to live" instead of the just "affordable"

but you will be the first to know when i find some good properties! :rotfl2:

stinkin' good for nothin' marsians! :sad2:

Don't stoop to their level!!! Seriously! We will all be the kind who will be polite and considerate till our graves. I was raised that way too and I raise my kids that way. You wouldn't believe the looks we get when a server puts a drink down and each child says Thank You. I'm not gonna stop!

Either you've "got it" or you don't.. Definitely a personality trait..

I'm surrounded by people who are never, ever on time - don't call to say they're running late - leave everything till the very last minute (even the really "important" stuff) - and it drives me nuts!!!

I hate being late - hate having to "wait" for others - hate rushing around to do everything at the last minute - and if I am calling you long distance, DO NOT tell me to hang on while you take another call and leave me hanging there forever.. Grrrrrrrr..

I'm "old" - I don't have time to wait around for everyone and everything.. :rotfl:

Thanks guys. I feel a lil better. These people are my friends and otherwise are amazing and good people. They are just chronicaly late and chronic flakers and I'm just annoyed at the moment. It shall pass.
I have a friend like that. Known her forever. Her parents were always late. Especially her dad! I think she "learned" it from him. She was even late to my rehearsal dinner. Long and the short of it... I just started coming up with different times for her. Or thinking that if I said one time, I personally won't have to show until 30 minutes later (at least).

I finally dealt with her okay and I learned with a few other firends that it is what I am supposed to do with them now. One was particularly bad at WDW. We would wait and wait... 2 hours almost. We stopped and just would check in at our said meeting spot periodically. Stay for 5 mintues then go and come back later. Sadly, some people are just that way.

In the mean time, it drives me crazy to be late and it probably always will. It's something in me I wouldn't want to change though. I like knowing I can always be there when I am counted on to be there.

You might want to ask my friend Jorge. As far as she's concerned, the world revolves around her and only her.

As for me, I'm very considerate when it comes to things like you mentioned. I guess our mothers read the same handbook when they raised us.

So how do I become more inconsiderate? How do I cancel when something better comes along? How do I stop calling when I'm running late and just show up when I get there? How do I cancel plans at the last minute because I just don't want to hold it anymore?
