How do add-on contracts work?

I am still deciding on a resale contract at OKW. I am wondering how it will work if I then buy any add on contracts. Here is the scenario:

I own 50 points at OKW with August UY.
I buy an add on at SSR for 50 points with Dec (or any other month besides Aug. UY)

How would that work to use my 100 points? Would I be able to book at either OKW or SSR 11 months out? How does that work with UY?

You can only book 11 months out with the points that you own at that resort. So, if you 50 points at OKW, then they can be used to book reservations at OKW at 11 months out and any resort at 7 months out. And the same is true for an add-on at another resort. If your add on is OKW, then you would have 100 points total to book at 11 months out. HTH!

If you buy thru Disney you will automatically get the same use year as the original contract. However, if we assume that you bought a resale with a separate use year, each add-on has its own use year and its own 11 month window.
