How did you ship your dress?

Ok I have recently decided to ship my dress to my mom rather than bring it on the plane with me.

How big was your box & also where did you get the box? Roughly how much did it cost? I want to ship it about 2 weeks before so that A) I know it will take longer to cost cheaper & B) If anything happens I will be able to look here, as well as in FL to fix the issue.

I just went to my local Post Net and they box it there for you. I want to say it was 40-50 with insurance.

This doesn't help, but I used the box my dress came in from eBay! It cost me $27 to FedEx it to Carolyn Allen, including $1,000 of insurance.

It wasn't horrible. Jet Blue one way $114 plus tax. So for the peace of mind, I was ok with the extra expense. But coming from a job where everytime we shipped something urgent overnight and it didn't show up, I just feel better!!
