I know that you can buy them for 20,000 credits, but the question is how could you afford them! I have been collecting credits for ages and I only have 17,000 credits!

Any tips to get more money?

Pirates, pirates and more pirates! Make sure you do your NPC runs and mix and play your music every hour or so. The other big one for me is fireworks but you need to get a decent score to get big credits on there. If you score over 240,000 and come in 2nd-5th place; that's 1300 credits right there! woot!

I just won my 400th victory on pirates which means I've won 40,000 credits in pirates. That's a lot of dead pirates; RIP my brothers. lol

It is a several step processto build up credit. Buy only what you need and save like crazy, take every credit opportunity there is untill you reach a goal you set for your self . Then try to maintain that while continuing to build on that and setting new goals. To really bring in the credit you will have to play games. Haunted mantion is usually the most profitable, however Fireworks can log in some good pay (due to the dangers of working with pyrotechnics I guess) Anyway when I am operating at my norm I can net about 10,000 credits a day without trying but can in reality pull in more then that regularly.

If I was to start a new Character and run the person thru the process of getting all the basic goals - level 3 pirates with invisibility magic - play ned once, mix your music and play it some play fireworks till you get your pin set and magic. This doesn't even include Mansion or codes and you will find you have at least 8 thousand credits if it is done correct. I only say this to show if you set goals for yourself and put effort into it you will make credit and have plenty.

I expect they will charge 10k and 20k for more items to come so do not become complaicient in where your credits are. I have no direct knowledge of this but I am expecting that if treasure finder magic is sold it will cost 50K solely based on if it works as it is claimed it could theoreticly pay for itself quick.

Couple hundred games of pirates-easy.
Two days work for a good player.
If your not very good piggy back into a good players game.
Stay out of there way, collect credits.

Supplement your credits with buzz, narnia, yeti items.
Ned like there is no tomorrow.

You could have had 20 credits while you started your thread for example.
You would be surprised how many add up while nedding when your busy with something.

Like Adventuredaz said- you have to work at it...

My credit base came from when they released ice- anc I played fireworks like crazy to get ice- and then they increased the credits too- so I was getting 1900 credits each time I played- and I admit at that time I neglected my family and house work and friends in the game to get ice lol- and the credits were a nice addition.

Typically when I'm buying I have to shop for myself and my two kids- I have not gotten them quest generators- but could easily do so by letting them "win" credits from a quest I set up just for them... but really dd is not interested in it because she have to put up prizes to run a quest and she isn't into that lol...

But yeah it can be done- when I know something is coming out- like bat magic- I will get on kids characters and help them by playing extra rounds of fireworks for them... and really can easily build them to 10,000 credits in a day if I want to play a lot and if not in just a few.

My older of the kids who plays does her music mix and gets NPC credits almost every day- the younger probably gets his 2-3 times a week- but he doesn't spend as much as dd so they have about the same amount of credits.

It does take some discipline- but even before the increased credits I found if I set a goal to get to say 10,000 credits I could do so and still shop some and easily maintain it there- without much extra work...

But I suspect many are like my oldest son- who doesn't play vmk but when he has real money he seems to always want to spend it- but does have some really great electronics and anime stuff- of course he will pout when he walks to work this afternoon because he can't use my car lol... but he could have bought a car by now if he had saved...

Well, If you chose to mule and build up a bunch of credit, then you can use it to buy miscelaneous things you want or need and trade it to your main while continuing to save for big items. I generally do not do much with mules anymore but have in the past. They bought almost all my Christmas items and traded them to me and that cleaned most of them out. I would use a limited amount of them as mini savings accounts. Also note that if you get a quest machine they could come in handy for colecting credit to buy prizes to load the machine with - just a thought. The reason I do not bother much with mules since Christmas is the Mansion has been open and the credit is very good there making storing credeit or earning credit on mules obsolete to me...others are nat as able to earn credits so it is still viable.

I just had my 1000th win can not play Fireworks on Dialup :(

and I bought one and loads of stuff since and I have over 40,000 still.

play play and play somemore ;)

Hi,

When I set out to get a quest machine I had only 4,000 credits. I donot use mules so that did not help me. Although I thought about creating a new character so I could use all the "first timer codes" for credits, I wanted to run quests on my main character so upon finding out the machine was not tradeable, that was out.

So, that left the good old fashioned way - play games. And play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play.

Seriously. Now, the side benefit that came from this? I became really good at fireworks - my game of choice. I still have not broken 240K, but my personal best got better and better. Yay!

Then, at 17,000 some very nice ppl - you know who you are - helped me out by giving me a few pieces of furniture that re-sold for high points and helped me earn my last needed points in any way they could.

And that's it. Oh, yea, and not buying ANYTHING.

That is how I got mine. It took over a week and a very strong commitment. No idea how some people have done it in a couple of days, but that is my story of how I did it. It can be done - just takes tunnel vision and commitment. Good luck!

Fireworks, Fireworks and more Firewoks!
Play jungle cruise on auto-pilot while you do other things.
Play your music mix every 15 minutes.
Play Haunted mansion and hope you get bonus credits!
Do quests that have credits as prizes.
Did I mention fireworks?
Oh, yea, don't forget about Fireworks! Seriously, you can get 675 credits in 10 minutes if you can get over 200,000 on Fireworks and make it to the 5th round.
