I've been lurking on this board since early 2013. We're finally ready to buy resale at BLT. I have a good feel about how how the system works based on what I've read here. My parents are also members, so I've done a few stays at BLT and SSR. I've had access to the member site since I am an associate member, so I've been able to view availability at various times of the year.
Our next trip is a large family trip in early Dec 2016. I'm hoping to close in time to be able to book the day the 11 mo window opens. I've seen the sticky with all of the broker links. What I'm wondering is how people here have found their resale contracts. Do you just wait till you find the right one in the email blasts, or do you contact all the brokers up front, tell them what you are looking for, and they contact you when they have it? I was just wondering if it's worth the effort to make contact with all of them up front, or if it's a waste of time.
