How did you choose your VMK name?

CapElDano comes from Bart Simpson's alias as "El Barto" The cap part was cause VMK would except just ElDano so I added Cap as in Captain. Yea, I know Capt. is the real addreviation for captain, but doesn't cap sound so much better?

I'm an artist who does hard-shelled gourds sculptures. When I had joined VMK to just "check it out" before letting my daughter play, I had just won a art competition that the award included a golden gourd trophy. If you see goldengourd or goldgourd on other games/boards, it is probably me too. For some reason, I never seem to have trouble with it being taken. lol My daughter chose KristyBlue, her cat's name is Kristy, and blue was her favorite color. I am amazed that VMK hasn't made her change it yet as Kristy is a first name, but I guess it is because it isn't her real name.

As for me... Well, Goofy is my favorite Disney character. And I happen to be a little... uh goofy myself...



The second part... Bob... Uh that came from the fact that my birth certificate absolutely does NOT have Bob on it. Nope, no-siree. It's got Daniel. I swear! And my middle name is most certainly not Robert. Nope nope nope. I'm not named after my Father who's a Senior, which, if true, would make me a Junior. And rather than have two Dannys in the house I was never called Bobby as a child, nor Bob as I got older.

So you hear that VMK? My characters title contains no personal information. No need to change it at all... In fact it's just a random name... yeah... No wait ... it's cuz uh... I like to float around in swimming pools ... just "bob" around in the water. Yeah. Yeah, that's it.

Caribbean_Gal...pretty simple.
I chose Caribbound as my user name for the cruise critic message board about 5 yrs back planning our first cruise, as in bound for the Caribbean but shortened up. I'm not terribly creative and was not a Disneyholic when I started planning for WDW a couple years ago so kept the same username. VMK didn't approve it for reasons I can imagine but won't mention here so Caribbean_Gal fit closely. Mostly in the middle of a WI winter, I'd rather be in the Caribbean!

MKOFROMEYW and MKOATEYW are my favorite screen names. I use them everywhere.

My original VMK title matched my DIS title but they made me change it.

So the MKO part is my initials. AT or FROM actualy are the words at or from. And EYW is the call sign for the local Airport.

I live on a Small Island, it has all ways been a very popular tourist destination, so there is a Small but busy Airport. When I was little My Grandmother worked at the Airport. I often would go into work with her and watch the planes all day. I spent alot of time there. And was allowed to do lots of things that would never ever be allowed these days. Everyone there called me Princess.

So since I could no longer be MKOATEYW I tried to change it to EYWPrincess but they wouldn't accept that but they took eywprincess, go figure I think they just don't like capital letters maybe? So that is my title...eywprincess

Well, for my login name I used the name I really wanted (stupid me xD) and so I changed it up a bit to where it still sounded good, and got Shaymojack.

Now for my nickname of Bug... Well, strangely my friends were giving each other animal names, one was penguin, and I forgot the other. I was late to the party and randomly got Bug. xD

When I joined VMK last year, I just took the username (Kasiks) that I used on other places .. There is no real meaning behind it except hidden meanings that I am not even aware of '_' I just wanted something starting with Ka and I came up with that. After two months, I created a new character and chose as my VMK main username Hakihea because I started learning Maori, I was born on December and Hakihea means December in Maori. As simple as that !

I had just come back from snowboarding and i decided it was pretty early - 10:00 at night [[lol]]

anyway, i went to my cousin's house, said hi to my aunt and uncle, and went to the basement to see my cousin's. they were all glued to their computers. i was wondering what was interesting them so much. they showed me vmk, so i joined. i was still in my gear, and im a chick, so i tried "SnowboardChick". that name wasnt available, so they put the "Ace" in. and thats how i got the name AceSnowboardChick.

i thought i'd join and play for like a day, but i was instantly hooked lol

Apologies in advance - my story isn't interesting like some others! My first VMK name was tolkienseven. Despite the numbers ban, I had the title for a few months before VMK sent me the infamous message, telling me I had to change my name. I had chosen that name because I love Tolkien books and seven is my lucky number. So, I had to choose a new name. Well, my nickname is HT (I have a hyphenated last name that is difficult for my students to pronounce) and the Doc part comes from my Ph.D. Most people in VMK call me Doc, which is just fine with me, as many do in real life as well!

Mine is simple and rather boring. My favorite color is PINK (cough cough). And one day, my teenage son looked at me and said out of the blue, "you know, you're not like a *normal* girl." OK....... so what exactly does that mean.... He then told me that he thought me to be a "girlygirl" so that name just kind of stuck.

It's funny, I was recently visiting an elderly friend of mine and she looked right at me and said, "you know what you are, Kimberly?" I'm thinking to myself, "holy cow, I have no idea... LOL!" She says, "you're a girlygirl!" So I guess my VMK name really does fit me like a glove.

When I joined VMK I was stuck for a name to use as anything I came up with was either not allowed or already in use and then out of the corner of my eye I spied the bottle of water on my desk at work (river rock is a brand of water here in Ireland - not sure if you have it in the states) and voila my highly unoriginal VMK name was born

Well scooterjake and I could not come up with vmk names. I said hey how about action heros like skippyman and scooterboy. Well then we decided we wanted our names in there.........skippypaul and scooterjake. How dumbo is that lol ?
So if you ever see to boys on vmk in tights and a cape.......skipping and scootering past you towards danger THATS US!! hehe (superman has nothin over on us)
