How did you choose your name on the DIS boards?

I've used Lizzybear online for about 8 years, it started as a nickname an ex had for me which friends also started using. I have to say though in the past year or so i've found it's often taken by others when I try and register with it, how rude!!

Mine is my daughters ponys name. She is cream coloured with blue eyes (a Cremello).We had to choose her name when we bought her and Cream Soda suits her well.

Mine isn't very original, I just love Ariel! Although a funny story goes with it - I was 5 when The Little Mermaid was out and was totally obsessed with Ariel, fish, mermaids etc! I remember asking my mum if I could change my name to Ariel and she said yes, so I went into school the next day and when my teacher called the register I politely told her that my name had been changed to Ariel and could she sort that out on the register I got laughed at so much that I can still remember it so clearly! And it kind of stuck as a nickname - I am now 24 and my family still buy me Ariel things

Before I joined an internet forum my 'ex' DH was a member of a car forum and used his first name and initial of surname, so when I joined here I did the same except with my first name and not his!!!
