How did you choose your name on the DIS boards?

Mine was a stupid impulse input when I was off sick one day and decided to stop looking at the DIS and join in, Saratoga was obvious because of my love of the place, but girl!! Crikey me I am going to be 40 soon. I really should change it to SaratogaGrownup, but I dont want to lose my tags!!

Ians was given to him by the Churchills (mostly Matt), Crispy because he was born in Leicester and thats apparently the home of crisps, and Welsh because he is now a Taffy, hence CrispyWelsh - there is logic there somewhere!!

I used to think that 1910 was when you were born.

when i was a baby there was a tv sitcom on called the Lovers ... the man in it was nicknamed Geoffrey Bubbles Bon Bon by his girlfriend, my name is Jane so my dad used to call me Janie bubbles bon bon, it stuck!

I never knew about that show! My family called my sister's boyfriend Geoffrey Bubbles Bon Bon and I was too little to understand why. They've been married now for 30 odd years and this is the first time I've heard that explanation!

I have explained my username before - the first message board I ever went on was a Coronation Street site and everybody chose usernames to do with their favourite character. My favourite was Hilda Ogden who was very fond of her mural on the living room wall -except she used to call it her "muriel". I've been Hildasmuriel ever since on all websites.

SwipatronSparks.... i love transformers.... and so.... i took my favourite autobot... Sideswipe Swipe( e in bold/italics as i keep leaving it out)

Mine is after those little werewolf teddies that were out in the 80s ~ my niece had been mad on them and we'd been talking about them the day I joined the DIS so that's why I chose the name. I've regretted it ever since ...... why oh why didn't I choose a nice Disney-referenced user name?!!
