Ok, let me try to explain first. We will be in disney in March, and will be celebrating my 10th anniversary:love: . Also, we are taking our 4 year old DDprincess: . Now I have made 4 reservations so far, and here they are

Dinner @ Princess Dinner at the Grand Floridian. Monday for DDprincess:
Dinner @ Crystal Palace in MK to Celebrate Anniversary Tuesday
Breakfast @ Chef Mickeys Wednesday
Dinner @ Princess Storybook Thursday again obviously for DDprincess:

How have I done so far? Is there any other places that would be great for our anniversary? I am a Goofy fan, is there any place to eat where I may be able to see and take a picture with him? Please help, I want to make this as special as possible for all of us.

Goofy will be at Chef Mickey.

All your places sound like fun, but maybe you would like something a little more grown-up for your anniversary? I know DD will be with you, but she certainly is getting her share! ;)

You didn't mention what kind of eaters you guys are, but I would recommend Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It has "flavors of Africa", nothing too out there, but a wonderful eating adventure. We will go there on the day we go to AK (a quick bus ride).

There are TONS of great places in and out of the parks you might choose that are both kid-friendly, but more of a finer dining experience as well. Keep your eye on these boards for ideas! Just a suggestion!!

You did great!! Goofy is at Cape May Cafe character breakfast with Minnie and Donald. That is our favorite meal at WDW. DD17 can't get enough of it and even DS18 (who had really rather not be with his parents at WDW) and DH (who can't stand to be at WDW) love to go to CMC!!! If we are going there, everybody wants to go!! It's not a crowded character meal so the characters have more time to interact. Goofy is a blast there, but watch your plate!! He likes to take it!!;)

Another good place to eat is Coral Reef. The whole atmosphere is awesome and the food is great too!!

Have a great stay!!!

I see that you have all character meals. Maybe you'd like one that doesn't have the characters?

I don't know about everyone else, but sometimes, I just want to sit and enjoy my dinner without all the interruptions from the characters. Gosh, that sounds bad! I do enjoy them, but not for every meal.

Thanks for all your help so far. Is there any other places that would be a little more for us two, but my DD can still enjoy?

Have you considered leaving your daughter with CM's at one of the childcare facilities and enjoying dinner just the two of you?

Be sure to let Disney know that you are celebrating your anniversary when you book your reservation. Magical things may happen.

Coral Reef can be very romantic for you, and it would be fun for DD due to the fish as well as colorful, beautiful mosaic designs around the restaurant! I think Boma or Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge would also be good choices for that night. :cloud9:

The Crystal Palace is fun, but it can be a little too brightly lit for your special anniversary dinner. (Your daughter would enjoy the parade that Pooh does with young guests and the other characters around the room.)

And as for your princess reservations, Princess Storybook dining at Norway is a wonderful choice! I personally love CRT too, but I think your young daughter will appreciate the princesses in this slightly more casual medieval fortress/banquet environment. Be sure to take advantage of the fresh food options at the cold buffet at the back of the restaurant! It is included in your buffet price per person.

My wife and I discussed it, but kind of paranoid about it. Have you ever used them, and if so did you like them? If so, how about your kids? Do they do things with them that they can enjoy? Sorry, I guess I am an overprotective parent, but I have heard nightmare stories about kids being left with strangers. I just want to make sure she will be taken care of.

We are going to use one of the childcare clubs at the hotels. For instance we are eating at California Grill one night, to watch fireworks so we are dropping kids off at Neverland Club at Poly which is pretty close on the monorail. They eat dinner there, play games, and crafts with other kids. I have heard good things about it, but this will be our first time using it as well.

There are some nice restuarants at Swan and Dolphin I have heard, a receipt from them pays for childcare at Camp Dolphin, however as they take them out to eat at a nearby restauarant instead of staying in the club the whole time, I didn't like the sound of that one.
