How did everyone find the DISboards?

A neighbor told me about "codes" as I was planning a Disney trip. He referred me to Mousesavers and I found the DIS from a link on that site. Been here ever since...one of the best things I have ever done!

I was an annual passholder at USF before IOA opened and i watched with great anticipation the building of it. Needing some kind of IOA fix, i searched the web and came across these great USF/IOA message boards. Soon i was happy to discover that those wonderful boards also had a disney area to them, which is how i found the Disboards. : )

An Evangelical Christian sent me over here to help me find my way :D :D :D :D .......

As with almost everyone else i was looking for WDW info for our upcoming vacation and was on another site can't even remember what it was and someone mentioned this one. At first I just went to the resorts and parks and would lurk here once in a while. After a while I realized how adicting this place is.

My DW discovered it and notice a thread about WWTBAM-PI. I got involved in the DB thread on the stupid thirty day rule and then branched out to other DB topics.

I was actualy looking for a Gucci hand bag and shoes when I stumbled over all you wonderful people.

I actually don't remember how I found it the first time, but a about two or three years ago, the site I was reading the RADP news postings on went to a pay site. I couldn't find it again anywhere else for free. Well I was going over my bookmarks and just happened to check the 'link's' page I had made for my Disney site and decided to 'recheck' it out. I don't remember it having a messageboard when I first linked to it, but it did now. And, of course it didn't take but a few days to get totally hooked!:) Apparently I had good taste when I first found it and it paid off later....:):bounce:

Found it a couple of years ago while searching for DVC info. I had another log-in name back then. I think the other one is still around here, but I forgot the log in and did not like the user name I had then. Unlike some other boards, you can not change your displayed name, so I had to re-register.

After getting a computer AND a WDW Vacation for Christmas 1997, I found the DIS in March of 1998. We were going to be going to WDW in October and I was doing some research.
I used an web address off of some WDW info that DH had printed at work before our 1996 trip. That address took me to Deb Will's site. There she had a link that led to the DIS.
And I have been here ever since. :)

Mom sent me the link in summer 2000. I finally registered on 9/11/00 (I remember b/c it was the day before my birthday  ).

I bought into DVC but had never been to Disney World. Found the DVC board looking for info for our first trip in 2001. I lurk most of the time, so I somehow lost the first name I registered under. But I visit the boards almost everyday to check on everyone! :D

It was June of ’99. I was looking for info on WDW for a trip in December, and looking to occupy some time at work (it’s really slow during the summer). I did a search, and this was one of the first sites on the list. I spent most of the next 3 years lurking, mostly reading trip reports during my lunch break. Just this summer, I started coming over to the CB, looking for something different.
