How devastating!

Those poor families over in Italy! I just saw on the news that a nursery/pre-school collapsed during an earthquake in Italy and there are still little children trapped in the debris. I couldn't imagine the heartbreak those poor people must be going through right now.

I don't have a link but I was just watching the Today Show and the reporter announced that the second floor of a school collapsed yesterday and just about wiped out the entire first grade, who were having a Halloween party. Two children were pulled alive from the wreckage - but that's it.

This is just a sad, sad situation and it was heartbreaking to watch the anxious families gathered outside the school.

I forgot to say that the reporter said there were something like 20-some children in the classroom and he was the one who made the remark about the 1st grade being practically wiped out.

That is so sad. I also saw it on the Today show . That is just something that shouldn't happen and I wonder why. They just said at least 23 kids have died. the poor families of this young children, they go off to school for a Halloween party and never come home, that gets to me.
