UPDATE: We discovered the cause of the glitch in the OP...apparently, the person who disappeared became so excited about her first Disney trip ever that she went on
MDE and created an account of her own. The system recognized her name and email (which I must have attached to it at some point) and "stole" her from MY account. Took some doing to get it back so I could see her on my account.
Then, tonight, about 2 hours ago, I went to load up MDE to have it ready to go at midnight to book FP+ and it wouldn't accept my log in. Kept saying my password was wrong. I KNOW it wasn't wrong as I had logged on already today multiple times. I tried over and over, completely freaked and finally in desperation entered my OLD password from last year (I changed it last year to keep in line with my other internet passwords). THAT worked???? I was like WTH???? But then when I logged in ALL of my info and reservations were GONE. No people, no res, no ADRs, no tix, no bands, no Donald Duck avatar...NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
I lost my mind. Called IT again.......I will say it again....
NOBODY SHOULD EVER HAVE TO CALL THE IT DEPARTMENT OF THEIR VACATION DESTINATION TO STRAIGHTEN OUT A GLITCH. EVER.
The guy was very nice and after tapping around he proclaims I have TWO accounts (No I don't). One using my email as my username and one using my last name as my username (NO. I DON'T!). SO after him not getting what I wanted, I finally got him to get the username back the way it was with the password I wanted and everything appears to be there.
One more glitch and Guest Services is getting an irate phone call.
