How crowded with the parks be this weekend (given UEA, gay days, etc)?

Surfing around, I am starting to get nervous w. how crowded the parks will be this weekend, given halloweentime, gay days and UEA. I am coming our for my first time in years and will be at the parks saturday through monday.

Can any of DL/DCA experts out there give me a sense of how crowded you think the parks will be and what it means? Are we talking you can't move, just long lines at the major rides, or what?

Will saturday be far worse than sunday or vice versa?

how will DCA be - should I just hide out over there for a few hours?

HELP! I'M STARTING TO FREAK OUT!!

Well, I haven't been this year, but I don't remember the last few years it being too bad. I do think that they have been saying that Sunday has been busier than Saturday.

What I do is; have a plan, be a little flexible, get there early, use the fast passes, when the crowd comes hop to DCA and since I have an AP ( just bought new ones for this week!) if a ride is crowded this time I skip it until the next time.

Not all of Utah has the same weekend off for UEA this year. Our district isn't off until the 15th for "Fall Break". We do have one extra day off this weekend for a teacher day, but it is just Monday.

I don't know where in Utah fronkfam is from - but we don't have fall break until the 15 and 16th either. Although my sis who lives North of me has UEA this weekend for her kids.

I would expect it to be crowded. Use FP's wisely, park hop to DCA when DL gets crowded. Come back to DL later and use up all of your nice FP's and skip all of the lines.

Maybe Monday will slow down and you can enjoy a less crowded day on your trip. I haven't been to DLR for Gay Days - but I have been to DL during UEA three years ago and it was crowded. We used RideMax since it was our first trip and it helped a lot, if nothing else for the little trick about saving your FP's to use until later. We were able to ride a lot of rides and really enjoyed our trip.

We'll be there this weekend too and I'm guessing that it'll be busy but I don't think we're talking can't move and 2 hour lines. I think it'll be just sort of moderate crowds, moderate lines, traffic jams around parade time/fantasmic/fireworks.

Definitely get there early and use fastpass and it shouldn't be terrible. I

just called and got PS reservations for both Sat and Sun with no problems.

I think Gay Days is at DL on Sat and CA adventure on Sunday. We'll hit DL Sat morning but if it gets too crowded we'll hop over to CA.
