in 2023 we arrived ON Thanksgiving and stayed through Wednesday and thought crowds were completly manageable. Flights on thanksgiving day are also usually very reasonable.

It was pretty crowded but not unbearable. We have gone several times at Thanksgiving, including 2025, and I always find the beginning of the week (Monday/Tuesday) to be worse than the end of the week.

ETA: It is crowded enough that I wouldn't choose it if I had less crowded options. Looking forward to my daughter finishing school so we can go at times other than school breaks.

Yes, we always arrive the Monday after Thanksgiving. For the OP, If you can get an early start, go to MK on Tuesday after Thanksgiving, there’s always a party that night and the daytime crowd is not bad at all.

That’s our problem we have to go when school is on breaks.
