We're thinking of going Sunday, 09/04/05 - Friday, 09/09/05. I'm guessing Sunday and Monday (Labor Day) will be pretty crowded in the parks, but after that the rest of the week will be significantly less crowded. Anyone been there at that time and care can share their experience?

Very low crowds after Labor Day. Lots of schools are back in session a week or two before Labor Day and the rest of them start on Sept. 6th.

We went last year Aug. 28- Sept 3rd and liked it so much that we are going back the same week this year. Very very very hot and a chance of hurricaines but low-moderate crowds!!!

A couple of years ago we went the 1st week of Sept. Sat, Sun and Monday was packed. The rest of the week was very quiet. We stayed at Coronado Springs and they hotel had 35% occupancy for the rest of the week. Very nice. Looking to go in Sep again this year.

we went to wdw august 28th-september 3rd 2002 over labor day (it was the only time we could go because of work & school) the crowds were horrendous friday-tuesday & the heat got to us, never again.

wow, twojo21, that has not been our experience at all... we've been in wdw before/during/after labor day three times in five years and found crowds to be very low... minimal waits on most rides w/cm's even offering us the opportunity to "go again" when there was no line at all... more than once last year we found ourselves to be the only people we could see (i.e. on bridge from crystal palace to frontierland and on other walkways)... it was great! so great we're going back again!

I love going during Labor Day. Crowds are low after the holiday and very manageable. One thing to keep in mind is that the day after Labor Day the parks start to close early. That was the one thing I hadn't anticipated on our first Labor Day trip. It wouldn't stop me from going again during that time.
