How crowded is Thanksgiving week M,T,W?

We have never seen the parks decorated for Christmas so we're considering a short -2-3 parks visit (MK and DHS for sure, maybe one more) on the M,T,W of Thanksgiving week. (2 adults). We would fly home on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day.

I know past years don't accurately indicate what 2020 will bring, but in general, are these days typically crazy busy? We have never been at a traditional "busy time" but we've had busy days and can always navigate well with a plan.

Yes, Thanksgiving week is busy. The closer it gets to Thanksgiving, the busier. Wed-Sun are peak, but Monday and Tuesday are fairly crowded as well. Having said that, I think it's a great week to go. We plan to be there this year for that week.

Its been a couple of years since we were there over Thanksgiving, but the crowds were not too bad.
Nothing like Christmas, Spring Break, or 3 day weekend Holidays. Maybe I was just expecting worse.

We did these exact days in 2019 and found crowds to be manageable. I think the key is always your plan and your attitude - those two things can make or break the trip even more than the crowd impact.

I would stay through the weekend as the storytellers and CP don’t begin until Black Friday. Plus, there is a lottery and some resorts are still being decorated early in the week. Or, if you can go from the Fri before to the Sunday after so you can attend MVMCP.

Our schedule is such that we need to leave on Thanksgiving day...but I'll remember this for a future year!

I was there this past Thanksgiving. Monday early at MK was chaos. Monday evening at Epcot was great. Tuesday we did HS it was fine. Wednesday at MK was busy, but really manageable.

I don't know what the deal was that Monday at MK, but by 1pm we had to leave. I couldn't take it. Holiday crowds can be very fluid. Sunday before Thanksgiving was also insane at HS.

We noticed a ton of people checking in and out Wednesday at Pop. I think it was one of those "in between" days.
