I currently have my next trip booked for the beginning of December, but something came up and I may need to move it up by a few weeks (not that this is a bad thing!! :bounce: ) But I'm not sure when to go. I was thinking of going Nov 12-21, but I'm nervous about being there the week before Thanksgiving...are the crowds bad then (particuarly that last Saturday, the 20th)? Does anyone know how soon before Thanksgiving the crowds start coming in?

November - my favorite time of year to visit WDW. This year, I think you will be fine through Nov 20 - not too crowded at all. The Thanksgiving crowds don't really roll in until the actual week of Thanksgiving. They won't really start growing until after you leave - Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

You may see more people at the parks Nov 20 and 21 for those taking the entire week of Thanksgiving for their visit. But I imagine it will be minor and you may not notice the extra people at all. We're talking your wait times go from 15-20 min for the bulk of your stay to 20-30 min for that last Sat and Sun. Marginal at best.

The weather is also beautiful at this time. Cool in the mornings and evenings and only mildly warm during the day. No sweating at all. Very, very comfortable.

I'm planning on being there Nov 13 - 18 and can't wait. Mid-November is the best as far as crowds and weather go.

thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it! I'm definately more comfortable picking that week for my visit now! :D

Just another vote for November. We went 11/16/02 - 11/23/02, which was the week before Thanksgiving, and had a wonderful time. Park crowds were actually very light, and we rarely had to wait no more than 15-20 minutes during peak times for rides such as RocknRollRC and Test Track. Near the end of the day, all the rides were walk on. Best part is we started to see Christmas decorations going up (actually the Disney 'elves' put them up while we were sleeping, so we were suprised each morning with new decorations throughout the resorts and parks)...We left the Saturday before Thanksgiving for home, and boy did the park crowds increase-- you couldn't even move in Main Street in MK. Great time of year to go... We had a blast and I'm sure you will too!!

We are going to be down Nov 12-19 and was curious about the crowds too.

Thank you!

dh and i went alone for our anniversary november 14-19 of last year. perfect weather!!!!! like lfontaine posted, no sweating! but you can still swim.

low low low crowds! only mk seemed crowded of course.

we literally walked on TOT twice at about 2 in the afternoon! we had run over to mgm on our second to last day to pick up a 'bear in the big blue house' stuffed animal for ds and decided on a quick TOT ride :teeth: imagine our surprise when no one was in line?!!!

Thank you to all who posted info in this link!!! Every one of my questions were answered before I even asked them..we have reservations for Nov.14-19th at BCV our home resort-now all I have to do is count down!!!
