How crowded first week of Oct?

We went the first week of October last year. It was wonderful. There were virtually no crowds anywhere. Wait times were low. We did MNSSHP as well. Also the F&W fest at Epcot is a must do. The only down side was the heat. It was very hot still. It was our hottest trip yet.

We went first week of Oct 2003 and loved it. It wasn't crowded at all. For us the weather was great but we are used to hot weather during the summer. After going in Oct. 2001 for the first time in the fall, I've said that's when we'll always go. Not to mention we love MNSSHP, this will be DD's(7) third time, wouldn't miss it.

I'm from Florida and we have always loved that time of year because of the low crowd and usually nice weather. BUT...I'm worried this year. We are going the first week in October, but with all the free dining luring travelers...I'm nervous it will be crowded. Oh well, only time will tell.
The bottom line is I'd rather be crowded at Disney than spacious at home!

I think it may be a little more crowded than normal. But I don't think theres going to be crowds to the extreme. I am going to the first week of October and I am a little worried about it, but I'm gonna try not to stress!!
