How crowded do busses get around spring break (before Easter)??

Last time we stayed at POFQ and AKL and road the busses w/ no problem (it was value season). Will we be able to get around during peak season on the bus? I'm thinking of just renting a car in case, especially after reading thru the other thread about whether to drive or bus. But I wanted to ask - just how crowded will those buses be during a peak season timeframe? And does it seem like Disney adds more busses? Thanks!

Yes they add buses.

I have been over many busy times (New Years, the 4th, and many Easters) and we always have a car with us and rarely use it - just for Downtown Disney.

I certainly would not rent a car just to avoid the buses.

IMO, its really hit or miss with many factors. I was on a few jammed packed busses and a few that were empty, really just depends on who is going where at what time!

Thanks travelliz & disneyjosh - - we could take ME from the airport, but would need to drive (or take town car) to Universal after WDW, and from Universal back to the airport, and I could see driving from YC to AK, and maybe Downtown Disney (that was the only long bus ride I recall from last trip). But that's about it. If I get a decent rate (less than $200) we'll probablly get a car - - just in case, but it doesn't sound like spring break/easter means the busses will be horrible, and that's good news!!! ;)
