There will be 9 of us in Orlando for a Dragon Boat Camp and we are planning on going to Jellyrolls on Thursday, April 12. We want to be at Jellyrolls by 7:30 pm & want to eat dinner first.

Since I am the "Disneyholic" in the group, I need to plan a dinner for the 9 of us before heading over to JR.

I was thinking about Big River Grille at the Boardwalk. Menu looks like something everyone can agree on and prices don't seem too steep & it is casual.

I was hoping they would take reservations but they do not. So, I was wondering if we get there by 5:30 ish would we have a problem getting seated right away?

Big River can be quite crowded depending on time of evening and time of year. I'd allow at least a couple of hours for a large party.

I agree that how busy they are depends on the time of year. However when I have stayed at the Boardwalk Inn and walked past Big River Grille around the time you want to eat there at, I haven't seen a line up of people waiting to get in and etc.

I don't know if the "no reservation" is a new thing, but I have made reservations in the past...407.560.0253 (30 days out).

As other poster said, call BRG directly for a reservation. However, barring that, 5:30 SHOULD be fine, but if somehow it isn't, send someone down to Jellyrolls at 7:30 to grab the tables you want. You should have no problem getting good tables that early.

Awesome ideas everyone. Thanks. :thumbsup2

I'm going to call them now directly to see if I can get a reservation.

If not, we will get there early and send a few ladies to JR to save some tables if we run late.
