How comfortable are the pull out beds in SSR 2BR?

We have 6 of us staying in a 2BR at SSR and 1 adult is likely to be sleeping on the pull out queen bed in the living room. Has anyone slept on this bed and if so, how comfortable (or uncomfortable) did you think it was? Do you feel any bars or supports through the mattress?

Thanks!

If I remember correctly, the mattress is a memory foam type, with no bars (as in comfortable). Someone else correct me if I am wrong.

We found it more comfortable than the typical pull out, but you still do feel the bar near the head of the bed but less in the middle of the bed. My daughter had no problem sleeping on it, but adults less so.

we found them quite comfortable, there was a sort of bump or lump :confused3 bit near the top but apart from that comfortable.

My two teen boys shared it and slept all night! :rotfl2: and we have sent roll-a-ways back for being horrible.

My dad (84 yr old) slept on the pull out couch this summer. Thought it was the best pull out couch he's slept on. My DD (20) slept on a studio pull couch for 3 nights and didn't complain.

I thought the SSR pull out couches were better than most pull out couches. My dad comes on a lot of trips (years of softball tournaments) with us and usually gets the pull out couch, so if he says it was good, then it must be.

I've slept on them for a couple of nights and found them to be alright.

By the way, the beds were noticeably more comfortable in the new Jambo

DVC rooms at AKV than the beds at SSR.

Thanks for all the feedback! :thumbsup2

I'd love to hear anyone else's feedback. I'm getting the impression that it's ok, but not great for an adult. We're just trying to work out our sleeping arrangements in advance.

I found it quite uncomfortable. :sad2:

While there was no bar in the middle, as others have said there is a hump near that top that bothered me and I found the mattress very, very, very firm.

I confess I did not sleep well at all. :headache:

Mind you, I am 56 yo and on the larger side :rolleyes1 so that problably makes a difference. YYMV

I slept on it two nights this summer and it really wasn't bad. I was nervouse since I never sleep well on vacation, but it was fine. (We gave up the MBR for two nights to our friends that were visiting) Two years ago I slept on one at SSR that was not so good.
